Amandine gave me such a warm welcome and was thoughtful and professional throughout. I stayed at Mont Brenn for quite a while while working in the area, and it was a real place to recharge after long workdays. I felt right at home. The old apartment has exposed beams, has been beautifully renovated, and is incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you could want and superb bedding. It's right at the foot of the stunning Saint-Germain d'Auxerre Abbey, in a quiet, charming old quarter near the banks of the Yonne River and the city center. You can explore on foot and wander the lanes until you come across the sublime Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the churches of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Eusèbe, the clock tower, and wonderful little squares. The city center feels like a breathtaking open-air setting. There's a parking lot nearby with one hour free, then a very low rate. I'd recommend the apartment for a weekend or a longer visit, and hope to come back for a holiday.

Once you drop your suitcases, you can settle into the peaceful charm of this lovely city. The charming, cozy apartment is right in the heart of Auxerre, and it's very clean, well equipped, and thoughtfully furnished by the owners. No need to rush out for coffee or toilet paper.

Amandine, the owner, was very helpful, and the large public parking lot is only a few steps from the door, with no stairs to get there. The ground-floor apartment has just two steps, high-quality furnishings, and was very clean. It's well placed for exploring the waterfront and old town, with several restaurants nearby. A couple of small drawbacks: the separate toilet and the shower cubicle are very cramped, and there are large garbage bins in the narrow indoor hallway right in front of the apartment door.

Amandine's welcome was warm and discreet, which made for a lovely stay. The apartment has been fully renovated and is very comfortable, just steps from the banks of the Yonne River. It's a lovely place to unpack and explore Auxerre and the surrounding area.
