The staff were very helpful, which made up for some of our frustrations. We booked mainly for the pool, only to find it’s open in high season and closes at the end of August. That was extremely disappointing. The room itself was comfortable and quiet, but outside we could hear the motorway, national road and train line. It was missing a smoke detector and bathroom ventilation, and the restaurant food didn’t look like the photos.

The room looked stylish and was quiet and pleasant, but the Wi-Fi signal in there was weak. The pool was closed during the last week of August.

Car trouble left us stranded, so we had to spend the night here. The ladies welcomed us warmly. There was a wedding that evening, and we could hear it until 2 am, though it didn’t bother us too much. The hospitality was exceptional. The room costs on the high side, but there’s much more space than in a standard hotel room, so I felt it was fair. Special thanks to Bouchra, who drove us to get something to eat. We didn’t see her the next morning.
