Sabine and Patrick made us feel so looked after from the start. They speak several languages, were gracious hosts, and helped with restaurant ideas and bookings. They even drove us to the car park and did two loads of laundry, which we really appreciated. There’s no on-site parking, but they made that easy for us. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, with homemade quiche, ratatouille, jams and yogurt, plus local breads, fresh fruit and several kinds of coffee, from Nespresso to American-style brew. Our room opened onto a pretty flower-filled courtyard, and had a terrace of its own overlooking the garden. The rooms are beautiful, and the whole place has the charm and class I hoped to find in Avignon. I’m not sure whether to call it a B&B, hotel or residence. It felt more like an experience we’ll remember. Avignon itself is beautiful, with plenty to see and enjoy.

We spent 10 days here in September 2025 and wished we could have stayed longer. Sabine and Patrick live on the property, and their hospitality and attention to guests went well beyond what I’d expect from a concierge. The atmosphere was outstanding, and the location was ideal for getting around central Avignon. This stay will remain one of the great memories of our travels.

The location worked perfectly for us, with free parking nearby and an easy city tram ride to and from the parking lot. We stayed for several days and really enjoyed it. The hosts were kind, breakfast was delicious, and our room was spotless.

The private terrace off the attic room was a highlight, with a great view of a 14th-century tower. The ceilings up there are very low, just as the website says, but we had a great time staying here. Sabine and Patrick were friendly and quick to help. Our room and the shared spaces were very clean, and the courtyard below was peaceful. I especially liked having that quiet spot, since the streets can get noisy on weekends. We’d definitely choose this place again if we return to Avignon.

The courtyard tucked among the rooms and apartments felt like a quiet little refuge from the busy streets. The place was comfortable and well appointed without being fussy, and Nicholas kindly gave us directions and suggestions when we arrived. We liked being just outside Avignon’s most touristy area, while still close enough to walk to some major sights in about 5-10 minutes. It was easy to reach a bus stop for Villeneuve Lez Avignon across the river, which I’d recommend visiting. There are also plenty of good restaurants and small shops nearby. The only thing we found lacking was the pillows, which were flat and covered in thick plastic. Nicholas brought us two extra pillows, though, and it wasn’t enough to take away from an otherwise very comfortable stay. We’d happily return.
