A complete disappointment for a 3-star hotel. The cleaning was poor, and the place had a host of technical and electrical problems. Our keycard didn't work, a screw on the toilet was loose, and some lights were out. In some other rooms, bedsheets were missing, the toilets wouldn't flush properly, and the toilets were so dirty they were moldy. Breakfast was below average too.

The staff were very polite and helpful with our questions, and they let us check in late. Breakfast came with the room. It was basic, but we appreciated it. The rooms were pretty good too, though the loft got quite hot in July because the air conditioning couldn't circulate cold air up there. That's something to keep in mind.

Thankfully we only had one night here as part of a tour group. The rooms weren't clean, with dead bugs on the bathroom floor and hair in the sheets. One person in our group had a double-booked room, and another got a bunk bed with a broken railing, which was dangerous. The beds weren't very comfortable either. It was a horrible stay.

The air conditioning was very welcome, and the room was pleasant. It was a little small, though, and more than two people would have felt cramped. For two of us, it worked perfectly for our one-night stopover at Hotel Cristol.

The rooms are the worst part. Moths had eaten our curtains, there was mold in the air conditioning, and the toilet looked like it had seen the worst 99 years of its life.
