The reception staff were nice and friendly, even though there was a language barrier. This place seems best for solo travellers who don't need much space. The property is very dated, the rooms are small, and getting around without an easy lift may be a problem. In room 7, the bathroom is basically a closet, with the toilet, sink, and shower less than a foot apart. If you're a larger person, that room won't work for you. There aren't any real amenities, and although there's Wi-Fi, it wasn't working. Cell service is poor around the hotel too, so expect to be offline inside. The price felt high for a place without AC or working internet.

We stayed two nights during a very busy August, with two kids under seven. It was a great price, the basic rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all was the location. At one end of the street there's a pretty church square with lots of good places to eat and drink, while the other end takes you straight to the main road leading to the palaces. We even had an air-con unit.

The hotel is small, with a bit of a local-home feel, and the reception girl was polite, kind, and very helpful. There isn't a lift. It has a ground floor plus the 1st and 2nd floors.

The location is awesome, and parking is available. The price seemed alright, but I wouldn't say the apartments are worth it. There are lots of them with bathrooms that reek of urine as soon as you enter, even after the windows have been open all day in windy, rainy weather. If you don't mind the smell and are watching your budget, go for it.

It's a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, but it feels dated and needs some updating. The location is good, with sights within walking distance, though they aren't right nearby. Fine for one night if you keep your expectations modest. One thing to know: you can't get there by car because the road is blocked, so you'll need to park somewhere close by.
