Véronique contacted us ahead of time to arrange our arrival, met us at check in, and offered thoughtful suggestions for nearby restaurants and activities. We stayed as a couple in the Apartment for six nights. It's right in the old city centre, within walking distance of sights, restaurants, and transit. The TGV station on the outskirts is the exception. There are plenty of nearby parking options if you're driving, though we didn't have a car. Breakfast was served daily and made a great start to the day. It included breads, cheeses, yogurt, muesli, jams, fruit, coffee, juice, and eggs if you wanted them, all sourced each day from local markets. We had early tours on a couple of mornings. One day they served breakfast a few minutes ahead of the usual time, and for an even earlier start the next day they left food in our fridge the night before. The apartment had plenty of room for two, with a king bed, living room and kitchenette, and bathroom with a shower. Two floor to ceiling windows opened onto the medieval street. Air conditioning was available, but we didn't need it in early October. On our last day, they offered to book a taxi to the TGV station and let us store our bags after checkout so we could keep exploring until our train back to Paris. I can't recommend this guest house enough.

The homemade breakfast in its beautiful room was a lovely touch, and our room was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. We also really liked the neighborhood and the people at Banasterie. The owners were so kind and shared all the information we needed about Avignon. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The breakfasts were a really satisfying way to start each day, and our hosts were so welcoming. They also shared lots of helpful information about Avignon. A wonderful place for a holiday.

We stayed three days, and the old building has loads of character, with a history going back 500 years. Our room was clean and practical, with air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, too. Veronique and Fabrice made us feel well looked after from the start. They went over a city map with us, suggested places to visit and things to do, and even made dinner reservations at delicious restaurants. There’s no elevator, but Fabrice carried our bags to the room. We had a great time in Avignon and highly recommend the place.

Tanguy was cheerful, kind, and very helpful. He gave us great ideas for sightseeing and dining, called restaurants to make reservations, and made sure we were taken care of. We had a lovely time at La Banasterie and would recommend it for a fun stay in Avignon. Our room was eclectic but comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and well appointed. There was a lovely garden patio right outside our door, and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts each morning in the cute dining room.
