I loved the garden and its lovely landscaping, along with the eclectic style throughout. The place feels tucked away, even though the busy streets and the Pape’s palace are only about a five-minute walk. The room was clean and the service was good. Just keep in mind it’s a five-room place, so the service isn’t like a big five-star hotel. If you value privacy and attentive service that gives you space, you’ll like it here.

The decor, rooms, and staff were all incredible. It felt like staying in a private mansion, complete with a secret garden and only a few other guests, yet everything in the center was about five minutes away. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in, maybe the nicest. We’re already planning another visit.

It’s a five-suite palace-style bed and breakfast, set in a large, secluded garden right in central Avignon. Each suite has its own design, and the main sights, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Breakfast is generous and delicious, served in the garden dining room in winter and outside by the pool in summer. The staff are attentive without getting in your way.

We stayed in the yellow room, which was huge and looked out over the pope’s castle and the gardens. It was so quiet, and the whole place felt romantic and serene. Behind a huge door there’s a lovely surprise, with sprawling gardens, curious romantic decorations, and kind staff. We wished we could live there. Highly recommend for a special stay in Avignon.

The yellow room had a lovely view of the gardens and pope’s castle, and I’d happily stay there again. From the street, the large door gives little hint of what’s inside. The gardens are just the start, with beautiful landscaping and decor that feels romantic and whimsical. One of the prettiest places we’ve stayed, and a real gem tucked away in Avignon.
