La Maison Grivolas

The side garden was such a peaceful place to spend time. There’s a small pool for a refreshing dip, and we also had breakfast outside under the open sky, enjoying the gentle breeze. Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in, and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed, including a good-sized refrigerator. Breakfast was generous and varied, served with warmth and care. Our host treated us with the easy kindness of a friend, and the whole stay felt calm and homely. We left with lovely memories and would gladly come back. La Maison Grivolas is a welcoming, peaceful place to stay in Avignon.

We’d gladly stay here again next time we’re in town. The rooms were clean and the beds really comfortable. The host was kind and very helpful, explaining the area and sharing good ideas for places to explore and restaurants to try. Everything in the city centre was close by, so don’t hesitate to book.

Mathieu's knowledge of Avignon was a real highlight. His suggestions for what to see and do were consistently helpful, and he even booked us a table at a lovely restaurant for our final night. Breakfast each day was a treat, with fresh homemade food and a traditional French start to the morning. The garden and pool were beautiful places to swim, relax or have breakfast. The guesthouse was immaculate, with carefully styled rooms and all the things we needed while travelling. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. Mathieu and his wife were wonderful hosts, and the stay became one of the highlights of our 28 day trip. I can’t recommend La Maison Grivolas enough and hope to visit again. We only had one day to see Avignon, but our stay at Maison Grivolas made the short visit wonderful. The owners got in touch before we arrived and shared recommendations, including some delicious places to eat. You can tell they care about every little detail in the apartments and about making your time in Avignon go smoothly. Breakfast was stunning. We’d love to return.
