Les Avises

The dinner was perfect, and the room and stay were very nice too. The wine, of course, is the best in the world. Mr. Sellose was humble and knowledgeable, and I learned a lot and really enjoyed the trip and stay. I'll definitely come back sometime.

Make sure you eat at the hotel restaurant. The wine list is 1000% good stuff. Amazing place, run by amazing people. Thanks so much to Elise for being so lovely to us.

We had a perfect four-night stay and can't wait to return. The restaurant was amazing, with every dish and dinner a pleasure. Chef Stephane and his wife ran it, and she also looked after breakfast and lunch. She was so warm and friendly. Anselme and Guillaume led a friendly, educational tasting, and Elise at reception was lovely from check-in through check-out, making sure each day went perfectly.

The champagne tasting was the standout experience. It takes place only on selected days for hotel guests, so it's a good idea to contact the hotel ahead of time. M. Selosse led our tasting, taking us through the philosophy and craft behind his champagnes before we tried them. It was one of the most interesting and enjoyable wine tastings we've had. This is a small, cosy boutique hotel in the Champagne region, beautifully decorated, with friendly, helpful staff who can accommodate requests and help guests enjoy the area. On good-weather days, coffee or an aperitif in the inner garden is lovely. The hotel also serves dinner from a tailored daily menu. A must-do for champagne and wine enthusiasts.
