On my motorcycle trip through the Alps, I spent a night here and really enjoyed the stop. The hosts were very welcoming, and the room was comfortable with excellent food. The auberge sits near the waterfall, with beautiful mountain scenery all around. A lovely, authentic place for bikers.

The bed was the standout for me, probably the best hotel bed I've had in a long time. Everything in the room was clean and up to date, and the staff were genuinely friendly and personally attentive. There was just one home-style dinner menu. Since only three guests were eating that evening, the limited choice made sense, and I enjoyed it. Breakfast was the usual French style, plus some really tasty local cheese. I'd happily stay again.

The food was the highlight. My Entrocotê was the best I've ever had, and the dessert had a lovely deep, fresh flavor. They use lots of fresh ingredients and told us that many of the products, especially the fruit, come from Italy. The restaurant is modern but still quiet, and the people were so friendly. They even tried to explain each dish in our own language, Dutch. My best dinner ever. Hope I can come back someday. Greetings from Holland.
