Being able to help Véronique feed the animals at her little educational farm was a highlight for our young children, and you can tell how much care she puts into them. The welcome was so warm, and the accommodation was lovely, clean, spacious, and well equipped, with three bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, washing machine, and more. There are castles close by, including Château de Langeais, only about 10 minutes away. We had a wonderful stay and will come back.

Christophe was welcoming and easy to reach during our summer stay at the gîte de l'ancien préau. The place has been renovated with taste and has all the comforts we needed. It’s a really peaceful spot that makes it easy to unwind.

The breakfasts were a real treat, with fresh-squeezed orange juice and homemade jams, and Christophe kept us laughing with his wit and relaxed manner. Christophe and Alix welcomed us warmly. We stayed in a lovely room in the old schoolhouse, built in 1888 and restored without losing its authentic charm. It’s dog-friendly, and I’d happily recommend the place. Monique and Jean-Claude

Christophe and Alyxe are such lovely people, and the whole place feels extraordinary, calm, and peaceful. We were greeted so warmly, and our room was spotless and high quality. A beautiful, relaxing base among the Loire Valley castles. Highly recommend, enjoy your stay!
