Karine and Benoît were wonderful hosts, taking care of all the little things that made our stay comfortable. They sent useful information before we traveled, gave us tips for getting around without a car, and served a tasty continental breakfast. The best part was the two dinners by the chimney, cooked by Benoît and hosted by Karine. We loved every dish and all the thoughtful touches. Our room had stunning mountain views, with the snowy peaks taking on lovely colors at sunset. It's the kind of little gem you hope to find in France. Thank you for such a pleasant stay. We hope to come back soon!

We were six people from three generations, aged 2 to 75, and stayed nine nights in the 8-person, 3-bedroom apartment at Chalet des 3 Domaines. The hosts, Karine and Benoit, work hard to look after guests across the two apartments, five individual rooms, and private restaurant at Le Chalet. Even with so much to handle between them, they were always smiling and quick to respond to requests and comments. The apartment is roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. From the living area, which has the kitchen, dining space, two sofas, TV, and balcony access, there are stunning mountain views. The fittings and appliances are good quality and work well. The master bedroom has a full-sized bath in its ensuite, a double bed, and a bunk bed in a curtained alcove. The second bedroom has a double bed, a full-height window opening onto the balcony, and an ensuite with a full-sized basin and toilet. The third two-bed room is next to an excellent shower room. The entrance to the building opens onto the ski and boot locker room, and the apartment is right beside it. There's plenty of handy space for hanging coats just inside the apartment's front door. The insulation and heating kept us warm and snug. Sound insulation could be better, though. With two excitable, excited youngsters in our group, that was probably more of a problem for our neighbors than for us. We mostly catered for ourselves, but one evening Benoit cooked dinner and served it in our flat, which felt like a real luxury. There were three choices each for starters, mains, and desserts at a very reasonable price, and the food was warming and tasty. We thoroughly recommend it. Ax 3 Domaines is a pleasant, family-friendly resort, and there's an overnight sleeper train from Paris, which the UK members of our group used. If you don't speak French, you may find some things a bit difficult. The four-year-old in our group managed daily group ski lessons after only a little initial upset. There is just one shop in the resort, and it's grossly overpriced, as you'd expect at a ski resort. Ax-les-Thermes is a nice little spa town beside the Ariege river. Did we enjoy our time at Le Chalet 3 Domaines? Very much indeed!

Karine and Benoît were so warm and generous with their hospitality. We had a spotless studio for two nights and were very comfortable there. It's only a few minutes' walk from the chalet to the Ax 3 Domaines ski slopes, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks for looking after us. We'll be back next year!

We loved our stay in the family room. The guesthouse is in a great location, and both breakfast and dinner were lovely. The Jacuzzi with a view was a magnificent experience.
