After our long drive, we were exhausted, but the owner welcomed us with drinks and a chance to sit and rest. Dinner was four homemade courses with lovely wine, and every dish was delicious. My coeliac disease was no issue at all: I was given gluten-free bread in place of the homemade bread. Breakfast was just as good, especially the homemade yoghurt and perfectly boiled egg. It was a peaceful, interesting place to stay, and we’d absolutely recommend it. We’ll be back.

We booked at the last minute and arrived tired, hungry and bitchy, but the welcome turned everything around. We were offered a drink straight away, then had a four-course meal with a bottle of Chardonnay. Our room was oversized and romantic, with a massive bathroom, and breakfast the next morning was fabulous. This was easily the best stay of our many stops in France, most of which cost much more. If you’re after somewhere unique and memorable with outstanding hospitality, book right now!

The garden was a lovely place to unwind, and the surrounding area was picturesque. Meals are prepared personally by the owner, and every dish was full of delightful flavor. The owner was kind and attentive throughout, with everything handled warmly and thoughtfully. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and elegantly charming, and parking right at the doorstep made things easy. One small drawback for taller guests is that the bed may feel a bit short. Otherwise, there was nothing to criticize, and I’d highly recommend this B&B.

A really nice family-run B&B.
