We had all the room we needed to rest after our cycling trip, and the food was outstanding. Dinner and breakfast were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, all homemade or local, and felt worthy of a top chef. It’s one of the best bed and breakfasts we’ve stayed at in a long time. From the moment we arrived, the place felt peaceful and welcoming. Our host was accommodating, showed us around the whole property and told us its history. He was engaging and clearly passionate about it.

The meals were delicious every time, and a special thanks for the homemade croissants. Paul’s long conversations with us were a real highlight. He told us about his love of bees and nature, and it felt like the start of a friendship built around bees. The place itself was calm, spiritual and enchanting, but the human connection made the stay especially wonderful. Thank you, Paul.

The meals were expertly made with produce from the garden or local growers. This felt like much more than a night’s stop on our journey, it’s an experience we’ll treasure. Paul made us feel at home through his natural hospitality, in a place full of positive energy and spirituality. It was a real privilege to stay here. Thanks, 10/5!

The breakfast was generous, with local, homemade and organic products. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the building itself is beautiful. We didn’t have time to try dinner, but seeing everything else and Paul’s passion for hospitality, I’m sure it would be excellent. We were only looking for a quick stop and found a charming place full of history, spirituality and peace. We regretted having to leave so soon. Paul really seems to embody the priory’s timeless, peaceful atmosphere. We’ll definitely return when we have more time.
