We’ve rented the same apartment for two years. The large living room had a well-equipped kitchenette, and the spacious terrace with its table and chairs was lovely. The bedroom, though, was ridiculously small, and the windowless bathroom was only just acceptable. The property has a lot going for it, with greenery all around, though it is somewhat isolated. There’s no real maintenance, and the cleaning is barely acceptable. The pool facilities are awful, so we don’t spend any time there. It could be perfect if upkeep and cleaning improved, but with so few staff, I’m not sure that can happen.

We rented the place for four nights for four adults, and housekeeping was poor. We found just one toilet roll, five loose sugar cubes, salt and pepper, an open jar of instant coffee, plus a used kitchen towel and scouring pad. The plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, and pans were all worn, and there weren’t even four matching glasses or cups. The mattresses and pillows were in terrible shape, with yellow use stains and no sign of a thorough clean. The curtains were just as bad. This place could be ideal if all of those things were in decent condition.

The pool was huge and beautiful, and we had two incredible days here for my company’s 25th anniversary event. Everything was lovely, from the food and activities to the excursions and an evening of dancing with plenty of oysters. The staff were so friendly, especially Guillem with his drone, manager Loic, and the wonderful Amanda. Highly recommend it for an event or a weekend away.

The apartment was spacious, the welcome warm and professional, and the location made it easy to explore the Canal du Midi, Minerve, and the Cathar castles. Cleanliness was the weak point: there was a stained mattress, a dirty patio table, and only a superficial clean. The worst part was the two dogs left alone in the neighboring apartment. They barked nonstop all three nights we were there.
