We were extremely disappointed, especially compared with what a Winstub around home usually delivers. The dessert was practically mass-produced, and the meat came rare when we'd asked for medium-rare. The main dish arrived at least 30 minutes after our starters, and nobody offered us another drink after the aperitif. We got the starters an hour and a half after arriving at 1 p.m. It was a set menu, so we couldn't just stop there. The restaurant wasn't even busy. When we complained, they said it was because we'd chosen a terrace table. The young waiter was pleasant, but the service was much too slow. From the moment we asked for a table, we felt judged for our somewhat rock-and-roll look compared with the setting, though they eventually found us a table. I don't recommend it.

The owner and staff were really friendly, and we ate extremely well. We'd booked an Airbnb for the weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic. The menu had a great selection and lots of variety. We were very happy with the weekend and highly recommend both the apartment and the restaurant.

We came in by chance, had an aperitif on the terrace, then went inside for dinner. The sea bream was incredibly good, even though I don't usually like fish. Bravo, I'd really recommend this place! 🥂🥂

The meal itself was good, but that didn't make the server's out-of-line comments okay. We waited 38 minutes before anyone came to take our order, then another hour to be served. Two servers were overwhelmed, and one was distracted clearing tables while three tables were still waiting to order. A family with a child arrived 45 minutes after us and got served five minutes after we did. We were as unhappy as could be. The owner could have left the counter to help out. No hello when we arrived, and certainly no goodbye. When we complained, they told us that if we were in a hurry, we should go to Mc Do. We still had to pay the full bill, with no reduction, despite the terrible service. Even if it was one of the few restaurants open in Baccarat on December 31, according to another customer, you shouldn't leave people waiting an hour to be served. An audit could help them handle busy days.
