The flat was clean, nicely decorated, and well kept, and Catherine was a hospitable host. Still, our family had a privacy issue future guests should know about. The people upstairs use the corridor through our flat as their only way in, something Catherine told us when we arrived. It hadn't been disclosed on the rental site, where the listing said we were getting “the whole flat,” and we'd already paid in advance. The neighbors were considerate and never disturbed us, but sharing access made us uneasy. My wife once came out of the shower in just a towel and ran into a stranger in the corridor. We also worried about our children's security, since we didn't want to lock their bedroom doors but felt uncomfortable with unknown people able to enter our living area. We've contacted Catherine to ask for compensation for the inconvenience. The location was fantastic, and the flat itself was lovely, but guests should discuss the shared entrance with her beforehand so they know what to expect.

Catherine is charming, and the rooms were pleasant and very clean. The house has an unusual style, with distinctive decor. It does get quite warm in hot weather, though having all three bedrooms meant we could make a draft in the evening. Catherine plans to add a small terrace behind the house, which I think will be a good addition. Recommended if you're passing through Bagnères-de-Bigorre.

The green decor really helps me clear my head, and I loved the place. I've been looking for somewhere like this for ages. Sharing the kitchen and living room with the other tenants makes it easy to chat and gives the place a warm, friendly feel. It seems very promising. Kisses.

The reading corner in the bright shared area was a favorite, with comfy armchairs and plenty of books to choose from. And the owner has thought through the details everywhere, right down to the decor. Each room has its own feel and private shower room, while the green color theme ties them together. If you're after a cozy home away from home in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, this place fits. The owner is charming and made the whole space feel warm and inviting. Thanks for being so welcoming, Catherine.
