Really great.

The apartment was so dirty that I had to vacuum, wash the dishes, and clean the toilet before we could settle in. After a 10-hour drive, we’d already had to wait for someone to hand over the keys, and there was no check-in once we got inside. A lot of things were missing, including the two teaspoons for a place meant to sleep six. When I asked whether there was a checklist to check the apartment’s contents, both before and after, I was told there wasn’t one. The bedroom shutter wouldn’t open, and since we were on the ground floor with no curtains, that was uncomfortable. We couldn’t use the terrace either. There was a lot of foot traffic, plus dog hair and droppings, which was unpleasant. I called the owner and explained all of this to someone at reception, but nobody got back to us or offered compensation. I took photos of everything. It’s a shame, because it’s a beautiful place for a holiday, but we won’t stay there again.

The apartment had everything needed for a great stay, and I especially recommend the tastefully decorated two-bedroom one. The property is beautifully kept outdoors, very clean, and has a pool for guests. From there, you can see the mountains, Gadech Park, and the paragliding launch site. The view toward the Val d'Aran and the cable car up to Superbagneres was magnificent. We had a very happy week at this family-run residence, and the whole team at the Léo Lagrange residence in Luchon deserves a well done. The staff at reception were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Our spacious apartment for six had two bathrooms, a real plus. The bedding was comfortable, and sheets, towels, a kitchen towel, and a cleaning kit were supplied. The indoor pool, heated to 27 degrees Celsius, was a bonus. It’s a 5-minute drive to Luchon town center, or a 15-minute walk. We didn’t use the residence Wi-Fi, but our network connection worked fine. There was no air conditioning, which we usually appreciate, but the air cooled down around 5 pm, so the heat wasn’t a problem overnight.
