Free parking is a plus, and you can walk into town from here. The accommodation is basic but clean, right beside the road. The shower curtain lets water spread all over the floor, and the cooking setup is very limited, more like camping. Nothing is provided, not even a tea towel, washing-up liquid, or one dishwasher tablet. The towels are tiny, more like something for a small child. There’s no pool before April 12th, which wasn’t mentioned when we booked. Wi-Fi keeps dropping out, so it’s no use if you need to work.

The accommodation was very pleasant, though by the end of the season a few little things inevitably needed fixing. The staff were incredibly responsive and did all they could to keep us happy. Their kindness and willingness to help are the main reason for my five stars.
