Château Lagrave Béchade

The people are what made our wedding weekend unforgettable. Virginie and we formed a real bond, with lots of laughter, warmth, and an easy understanding. She brings so much heart, humor, and energy to the place, and made us feel incredibly welcome. We celebrated at Château La Grave Béchade, surrounded by lush greenery and a stunning, majestic castle. The estate felt peaceful, elegant, and full of charm, and for three days we got to live like lords and ladies. It was a dream setting for an unforgettable weekend. Virginie welcomed us so warmly and knows the place inside out. She told us with real passion about the château's history and how its land went from growing vines to growing hazelnuts. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful place.

We got to stay at the château for three nights, with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely bedding, a big pool, and a sauna. The grounds are gorgeous too, with large trees offering shade for cocktail hour, a renovated reception hall, a separate room for a secular ceremony if it rains, and even a 1947 Chrysler. Our cocktail hour was outside until a sudden thunderstorm came through. Since there were only about 50 of us, we could all move inside the château, and it turned into a really pleasant, intimate moment. The staff were lovely, and every room had its own carefully considered decor, with that Bridgetton-esque style we adore. It was a dream wedding weekend, and we'd recommend it to anyone hoping for a memorable one.

The château was a beautiful, peaceful place for our wedding on August 3, 2024. The children could play freely and safely, and everything went perfectly from start to finish. Virginie, thank you for being so kind, helpful, and friendly. We have no regrets at all and will remember that weekend for a long time ❤️ I'll stay in touch, and I'd happily recommend the venue for an event or just a getaway.
