Zenao Appart'hôtels Toulouse Balma

The apartment was huge, around 65m², with two bedrooms. The area feels newly built, but there’s not much going on within walking distance, like restaurants or bars, so it comes across as a dormitory suburb. I had a hard time finding the place because I was expecting an aparthotel, not a senior living residence. Breakfast also wasn’t very traveler-friendly: instead of a buffet, you order the night before. I asked for hot chocolate and a croissant and got exactly that, which only worked for my diet.

The staff are friendly, and it’s easy enough to find street parking, though underground parking is available for 8 euros a day. The apartments are part of a senior residence with intergenerational interaction, and they’re much bigger than a typical aparthotel, around 45 to 60 square meters. It’s a great find close to Toulouse and the Cité de l'Espace (Space City). The place is clean, modern, comfortable, and welcoming, with enough room to feel at home.

Being a longer-stay option, it’s really good value, with reasonable prices and secure parking for an extra 8 euros. We spent 3 nights there while visiting the Cité de l'Espace (Space City), about a 15-minute drive away. The apartment was bright, spacious, and had a well-equipped kitchenette with a sink, fridge, microwave, and what we needed for cooking. It’s in a senior living residence, so residents and tourists stay side-by-side. We had a wonderful time, and really appreciated the hospitality. 😉

The bedding was perfect, and the apartment was spotless. We were welcomed warmly too. Finding the place was a little tricky, though. I recommend it. P.S. Remember to put up the rules for checkers. 🙂
