La Florentine

Madame makes a fab breakfast every morning, and the quaint little bedrooms were super clean. There’s a lovely big terrace where you can sit, eat, or read, plus a lower terrace with a pool. The port and beach are a few minutes away by car, and the promenade has great restaurants. We’ll definitely return. ☺

Even though it’s easy to reach by car, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, the house feels like a peaceful retreat surrounded by flowers and plants. It’s charming, unusual, and full of little details that feel carefully considered. I still think about the almost magical breakfasts and dinners, out on the sunny terrace or in the dining room. Madeleine is so kind and welcoming. There was a language barrier, but she still found ways to make herself understood and chat with us. It’s been nearly a year since our stay, and we’re still talking about the place. We’re planning to return ❤️

The delicious breakfast came with fresh bread every morning, and the rooms were very clean. Maddy looked after us so well that we wished we could stay longer. She’s friendly and pleasant, and the swimming pool was available for us to use. It’s a beautiful place, and we felt so warmly welcomed. Thank you so much. I’ll definitely come back often, even just for a weekend.

The garden is wonderful, with lots of places to sit and unwind, and the hostess tends to it with real care. She’s very friendly too. The house is beautifully situated above Bandol, absolutely quiet, and parking right outside is easy to find. It’s about a 45-minute walk into Bandol, partly on a lovely path with sea views. The nearby railway didn’t bother us at all. The room felt rather over-furnished, though that’s a matter of taste. Wi-Fi and internet access were practically non-existent.
