The TV gave me some trouble, but it didn't spoil the stay. It was such a quiet place, and one of my best experiences.

We found out only after arriving that the campsite would stay closed for at least three years because of construction. Nothing on the website had warned us, which was such a disappointment after a full day of walking. We had picked it because it was closest to our route. People we asked brushed us off rudely and sent us away, though they did mention another campsite 1.4 km farther on that was open. Even if this one reopens someday, I wouldn't stay there.

The management and staff were so attentive, and everything about our stay at Camping Le Kernest was just right. It's ideally placed for exploring the island. We had a really pleasant time and would happily recommend it.

The staff were cheerful and welcoming, and when our fridge caused trouble, they replaced it right away. We also had a problem getting to Belle-Île, but they arranged their shuttle to bring us back to the campsite. There are lots of activities, plus a lovely heated pool. It's a great spot for a fun camping trip, especially for young people. The location is handy too, just a short bike ride from little coves and beaches. Highly recommended.
