The garden made a real difference for us, and we loved being able to cool off in the pool after hikes, even with a stroller along. We spent a short week in the hunter's cottage as a couple with our baby and dog. It was comfortable and suited us well, and the owners were friendly while still giving us plenty of privacy. They also lent us a cot and high chair, which we really appreciated. It’s quiet, with fields all around, and the nearest town has the essentials just 10 minutes away. Thanks again, we’ll definitely come back.

We were welcomed by a cheerful, very friendly woman who really tried to make things work for our group. The accommodation itself was pleasant, thoughtfully laid out, and well kept. A great welcome and a place well worth trying.

Breakfast was perfect, and the welcome was lovely. We stayed two nights in the bed and breakfast part, alongside a large self-catering cottage. Our room was spacious, with a king-size bed, and the bathroom was just as large and had a toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, while the ground-floor room is used as a kitchen and dining area where breakfast is served. You can eat there too, though cooking is limited to warming food in the microwave. It’s very quiet, and there’s a wellness area with a pool, jacuzzi, and covered seating, but we didn’t have time to use it. The staircase is the main drawback: it’s extremely noisy, so keep that in mind if both bedrooms are occupied, especially when neighbors return in the middle of the night. The noisy stairs are really the one downside.

There were 20 of us, all friends, with children, and everyone found something to enjoy: the pool, foosball, billiards, ping pong, or pétanque. It’s a lovely place to get together with family or friends, with something for everyone to do. The owners of the gîte made us feel very welcome.
