We had an easy check-in at about 6 p.m. The hotel is just off the highway, convenient for passing through, and the area around it felt quiet and safe, almost pedestrian. We parked behind the building, used the security code for the spiral stairs, and found the key waiting in the room. The restaurant was supposed to start serving dinner at 7, but it was closed because it was Sunday. A nearby pizza place came to the rescue, and the pizza was honestly among the best we've ever had. The room was another story. It was tiny and extremely hot, with a hard, narrow bed and a shower cabin so cramped it was uncomfortable. The toilet seat was unusually low, a nightmare for my husband, who's 195 cm tall. We couldn't sleep properly, and the entrance door beside our room meant we heard everyone coming and going. After struggling for hours, we gave up at 3 a.m. and left to continue our trip.

The rooms were clean and good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate dinner and breakfast there, both were very good and fairly priced.

We arrived worn out from the road and feeling a bit sick, late in the evening. The owner kindly brought us the medicine we needed and let us eat in our room. It's a lovely little hotel and restaurant, and we'll never forget how kind the owner was.

The service was bad. I booked a place to stay, but they kept rejecting my payments and eventually canceled the booking without asking us. We were already on our way to Italy and now have to find somewhere else.

The restaurant dinner was good, while breakfast was just okay. The furniture is very dated and the mattress was quite hard. Still, it's a good place to spend a single night.
