Logis Solhotel

The sea view was already amazing from our ground-floor double room, with the water just across the road and down the cliff. We visited in September, when it was pretty peaceful, though the poor soundproofing makes me think it could get noisy in peak season. The road outside may be busy then too. It’s an easy walk to the town centre, and there’s a beach within walking distance. The place was affordable and clean, the staff were really friendly, and the breakfast buffet was nothing special but did the job. You can eat outside as well. I’d recommend it for an overnight stay in September.

The balcony was a highlight, with a priceless view of the cliffs. There was room for a table and armchair inside, plus another table outside, and the hotel is away from the town crowds. The carpet and curtains smelled of cigarettes. I guess guests may be smoking on the balcony with the door open. The reception felt dark and unwelcoming, and it was surprising that the receptionist didn’t speak English, Spanish or Catalan. She seemed shy and very sorry, though, and was willing to help. We did our best to communicate with Google Translate. The hotel itself is nice, with great views.

The front balconies are lovely for relaxing, and the cliff-top setting gives you beautiful coastal views. Parking on the forecourt is free, breakfast is good, and the place is clean and comfortable. The decor is a little tired but still pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

It is clean, but parking is nowhere near sufficient for the number of rooms. The hotel is close to the cliff, though the main road runs between it and the sea, unlike what the photo suggests. The balcony is tiny and not much use.
