We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the kitchen is good. The steak tartar was fantastic. Strongly recommended.

The village was great, and I slept like a baby. After my motorbike broke down on the highway, the French government required the tow truck to take me to the nearest village. It was a four-day bank holiday, so no mechanics were available. I ended up walking, sleeping, eating, drinking and reading. A great break! The hotel was good, and the restaurant was VG: gorgeous escargots and tremendous filet mignon. Had a VG wine with them, a Ricard beforehand and a Calvados afterwards.

The hotel is right in the center of a really interesting town with varied architecture. It's basic but very clean, with a good shower and linen, and helpful staff and service.
