The toilets and showers were spotless, with soap and hand sanitiser, although they got busy at peak times. There’s loads of room and it’s easy to get around, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The upper pitches look across fields towards the mountains. Fruit trees grow around the site, but they don’t give much shade, so some spots are in full sun. The restaurant on site has a limited menu. There’s another one about a 15-minute walk uphill at a nearby campsite, plus a bakery/nightclub (really!) about 10 minutes away. For electricity, you may need a long cable that crosses the road, and a staff member has to connect and disconnect it.

There’s plenty of room on the pitches, and the setting by the mountains and lake is beautiful. Toilets and showers were clean, and both children and animals are welcome. People were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice.
