We stayed one night on the drive back down from a road trip to the French Alps. La Fernande is a beautiful old building, renovated with taste and fitted out to a high standard. We were the only guests in low season, but the hosts still gave us a lovely welcome, a delicious breakfast, and great advice on which road to take back to Nice. Highly recommend.

Loulou and her husband run a fantastic guest house with a really friendly feel. It’s close to the Les Orres ski area and LAc De Serre Poncon, and makes a perfect week away.

Breakfasts with local and homemade products were a real treat, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. This beautifully restored old farmhouse uses traditional materials, and the welcome was warm. It was a peaceful, perfect stay, though we arrived too late in the season to enjoy the lovely pool overlooking the lake. We’ll certainly be back.

Loulou's breakfasts were excellent, with local and homemade products, and she gave us a warm, friendly welcome along with valuable tips for hikes and sightseeing nearby. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It’s a magnificent, peaceful place in nature, with a pool looking out over the valley and mountains. We’ll definitely return! 🤗 Chantal and Pascal. July 2025
