Logis Hôtel le Central

The free shuttle to the ski lifts stops across the street several times an hour, and we also got a discount on ski rentals through the hotel's partner. We stayed for six days of skiing over Christmas and had a great time. Half board meant dinner was included every night, with a tasty breakfast buffet and plenty of dinner variety. The food was a couple of steps better than standard hotel fare. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the thermal baths just up the street in the evenings.

A pretty village, good skiing, plenty of other things to do, and friendly, welcoming staff. This is one of the best independent ski hotels we've stayed at: good value, comfy beds, and a luxurious sauna and spa. We'll be back!

Christophe & Alain are such great hosts, they make you feel right at home. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was amazing, the best dining option in all of Bareges. If you're skiing at La Mongie, the lifts are less than a five-minute drive away, so the location is hard to beat.

We had a great week here. The hosts notice all the little things: when we sat down for drinks before dinner, they lit the fire straight away and brought out a delicious tray of canapés. The food was excellent, and there was plenty of hot water for the bath we needed each night. It's a welcoming hotel on Barèges high street, handy for the ski buses to the resort a mile up the road.
