La Marine

We had a wonderful stay for our wedding anniversary. Our room was spacious, clean, nicely presented, and had a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made the visit a delight. Dinner was delicious, and the sommelier was knowledgeable and chose an excellent wine at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed spending the early evening or afternoon on the terrace by the bar, looking over the bay. The barman was extremely helpful and gave great service. Thanks to all the staff and management.

The views were lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They really tried to communicate in English since our French was pretty shaky. We’d definitely come back.

The bed was very comfortable, with good quality linen, and the bathroom had nice toiletries. Our room had a lovely village view, though no air conditioning, which was a drawback in the July heat. The tea and coffee were upmarket, but figuring out the coffee machine was quite a mystery. The location was fabulous, and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

The restaurant food was excellent, though it isn't open every night. We had a tasting menu and enjoyed it, but would have preferred to choose our own dishes. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable; some have small balconies, so check if you want more outdoor space. Parking can be tricky, but there are free spaces on nearby streets. A fantastic last night of our holiday.
