Brigitte lodge

I stayed here for a month in 2021. It was usually rented by the year, but Brigitte, the owner's mother, suddenly asked me to pay a nightly rate instead. I also saw another room rented for 15 days without cleaning or fresh linens, despite, I would say, about seven people staying there during that time. The owner and his son Thomas Emblas gave an opinion and commented that someone had made this happen, and justified it. When I was away, Brigitte would go into my room for herself and her son. She never cleaned anything, and spent her time in her own room drinking. Once, I saw her come into my room with whiskey. Don't go there!

The huge kitchen and roomy outdoor area were great, and the double room had its own bathroom and toilet. Brigitte was very warm and welcoming, and super understanding about one thing I hadn't thought to check: which payment methods they accepted. Knowing that ahead of time would have saved me a lot of worry. I'd come back if I get the chance, especially for the pool 🏊‍♂️ 👍 PS: Mr. Thomas, please remember my bill 🙏

The garden was lovely to wake up to, and the quiet surroundings made the house feel like a good place to unwind and explore nearby areas, even though it's somewhat secluded. The hosts were warm and courteous while still giving us space. The rooms were nicely decorated, the bathroom was complete, and things were quite clean. There were lots of air fresheners, perhaps to cover some less pleasant smells. We had trouble spotting the house at first because it looks like other houses, but paying attention would probably have helped. We didn't, hehehehe!

It was extremely quiet there, and the price was good. The welcome was friendly and the stay was pleasant. My room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, TV, shower and toilet. Everything was nicely furnished and well maintained, and I could park right in front of the house. Thanks for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended.
