Domaine de Valmont

The manager’s behavior put a real damper on part of the weekend. He seemed tense much of the time, was uncooperative and could be unpleasant, and several situations created needless friction, including with the groom on his wedding day. We were also left skeptical when leftover slices of the birthday cake we’d brought disappeared after being served, and staff said they’d been thrown away for hygiene reasons when we asked shortly afterward. There was plenty we liked at Domaine de Valmont: the grounds are lovely and well laid out, the waitstaff were attentive, and the appetizers, meal and service were all praised. The rooms were fine, though somewhat dated. Without the management and communication problems, the experience could have been excellent.

The estate is sublime, and all our guests could stay overnight. The team looked after us so well, and the services and equipment provided were perfect. We chose Valmont for our wedding and it was incredible, with no complaints at all. Special thanks to Anna, Franck, Richard, the kitchen team and all the staff. They were lovely and always available when we needed them. We highly recommend the venue, caterer and team. Go for it without hesitation!

As a wedding photographer, I’ve visited several times and have been delighted each time. It’s a perfect wedding venue.

We were in a desperate spot six months ago when I got in touch, after our previous venue let us down. You made the impossible work, and handled it with incredible professionalism. Our wedding at your venue was magical, and I can’t put into words how happy we were. The team pampered us from start to finish, and every single person was outstanding. The venue was magnificent, everything was meticulously planned, and the catering was excellent quality. Five stars don’t begin to cover the service. Thank you so much again. The whole team was amazing, and I especially want to thank Annie, Anna and Franck for all their support and invaluable help with the planning.
