We spent a lovely day up at U Canale, swimming near the waterfall. Bastelica itself is pretty quiet during the day, though there are a few restaurants. One we tried was excellent, while another was just okay. We couldn't get into the equestrian Ranch because it was fully booked. Back at the house, everything felt peaceful and beautifully refurbished. The host was very helpful and spoke clearly for our English ears. Our room had a double bed and a bunk bed for the kids, with a partition between them, and both the beds and spotless bathroom were comfortable. Breakfast came in generous baskets, and there were hazelnuts from the garden to crack. Highly recommended.

We tried the local Corsican food twice at his restaurant, about 400m from the B&B, and went on two great hikes he recommended. Staying at A Bella Scusa made it easy to enjoy the mountains and nature. The house has a lovely rustic look, breakfast was great, and the host was so friendly. We had an incredible time. Thank you!

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the scenery around the B&B is beautiful. We liked having a cosy shared space for breakfast or for eating and drinking things we'd bought ourselves in the evening. The place was renovated in 2018, and the old features and modern furniture work really well together. The rooms are lovely too. Breakfast was okay, though not especially extensive or sweet, pretty much the way the French have it. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely autumn break in this beautiful residence right in the village. The decor is lovely, especially the old wooden floors, and breakfast was good. It was a bit chilly outside, but the heating warmed up quickly. I recommend it.

We stayed four nights with our daughters, who are four and seven, and felt right at home. A Bella Scusa is full of charm and feels authentic, with a great spot for mountain activities and still close to Ajaccio. Thanks, Christophe, for the delicious meal at your table d'hôte. Such a lovely find!
