Hôtel Le Bastia

The road-facing room felt cold and left a lot to be desired. The polyester sheets made us either chilly or sweaty through the night, and the basics were missing: no slippers, nice soaps, or sugar for coffee. The two espresso capsules were the only pleasant extra. It felt like the bare minimum, and I can't see where the stars come from. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was roomy, the bed comfortable, and the pillows had plenty of space too. Staff were very kind, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I couldn't comment on the pool or breakfast since I didn't try either. The location worked well for me, though getting there means walking uphill, which won't suit everyone. A nice smell greets you as you come in, too. Good experience!

Breakfast was just right, and the staff were lovely. I especially appreciated the reception staff booking a taxi for me, since my French is very poor.

The breakfasts were very reasonably priced, and there are both a lovely pool and a nice gym. Our room was great, and they let us in an hour before check-in. The man at reception was really nice and handsome. Lovely hotel.
