Residence Pasturella

The owners were incredibly kind, and breakfast on the terrace was a real treat. The apartments were spotless, the location was great, and the pool was so relaxing. Everything was perfect. We’ll be back!

The pool was a highlight for us: clean water at about 31°C, plenty of loungers and both sunny and shady spots. There’s even a solar shower before you get in. Our two daughters loved swimming there after we unpacked and ate. I think the pool is around 8 x 4 meters and 1.4 meters deep. The apartment and its facilities looked beautiful, freshly furnished and tastefully decorated. The shower was great, and the living room had good air conditioning. We were able to get in early after Ms. Alessandri spotted us as she was about to leave. It took us a little while to find the place, though we’d started searching in good time. She was so kind, and even tried to speak English despite our not speaking French. Her husband, Patrick, was very welcoming too. We also had breakfast at reception. The table was already set when we arrived, and the food was delicious: different breads, two jams and cappuccino for 8 euros each. It was more than we needed, but we enjoyed it. We loved our stay and would happily book again. The price is high, but you get what you pay for. We’d love to stay a week or two, though our budget doesn’t stretch that far. My only small gripe is that the beds felt firm and didn’t give much. I’m used to softer beds, like at Van der Valk, but that’s personal preference. A solid five stars from all of us.

The hosts were so friendly, and the apartment was excellent, with everything we needed. It’s peaceful, there’s a lovely pool, and parking is secure. Highly recommend.

Just outside Bastia, about 4 km away, and a few kilometers from Arinella public beach, this is a peaceful, clean place with a charming feel. The apartments look out toward the sea and the outskirts of the city. There’s a lovely pool, and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you’re after a quiet, relaxing stay, I’d recommend it.
