Such a peaceful spot in the heart of Bastia. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere just right.

At The Rose Mary, the hotel, restaurant and bar come together in a sumptuous setting that feels magical. There’s elegance and charm, along with a real sense of calm. Every detail adds to the experience. Definitely an address worth discovering.

We stayed in a spacious, practical suite at the top of the hotel. It had a small private plunge pool and felt completely secluded. This really is high-end. The meal at the restaurant lived up to the standards we’d been promised, and the young chef came over to talk with guests. You can sense his ambition and his drive to take the cooking to the highest level. The whole team deserves credit. The project has made a strong start, and I hope they can keep it going. This is Bastia’s first five-star hotel, and it’s brand new, but the ingredients for success are already here. The welcome was warm and friendly, and everything encourages you to switch off. Starting with a delicious cocktail by the pool was perfect. For those who remember the old manor house before its excellent renovation, the result is striking. Updating the place while keeping its spirit must have been quite a challenge. It’s an oasis of greenery and calm, just two minutes from the center of Bastia, with a superb view of the port and Tuscan islands. Sublime and exclusive. This is Corsican family hospitality at its best, far from the sterile feel of luxury cruise ships.
