The heating in the place is really poor. The Alsatian platter from Obernai looks lovely on the table, but the food is a letdown, and a real insult to the cooking of this beautiful region. You'd eat better in a school cafeteria. It's a sad situation.

We spent the weekend at L’étoile d’or. The room was clean, the bathroom had plenty of space, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of variety. Such a shame we paid for a double room and ended up with two single beds pushed together.

We had a short family weekend away. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the bedding was top-notch. The bathroom was a bit small, but the staff paid attention to us. Breakfast was generous, and the restaurant beside the hotel was truly exceptional. The hanger steak and pork tenderloin were magnificent, while the pizzas and pulled pork were to die for. Big portions, excellent service. Well done!
