Laurier (LCC126)

We paid 150 for the night, which felt far too expensive for what we got, and we won't return. The room was a disappointment: the windows didn't close properly, so we had cold and noise all night, and the door let us hear people talking and walking on the stairs. There was no sound or light insulation and no privacy. The ceiling had lots of cracks and seemed to be falling apart in places. The pool wasn't there, though Booking.com hadn't mentioned one. We booked through Booking.com because it said cards were accepted, but the owner only took cash. For a receipt we got just a slip with the amount paid, so I wasn't sure about their tax situation. Breakfast was a disaster, with only bread, cheese, ham, juice, and croissants. When we asked for eggs, the waiter looked embarrassed. We were road-tripping from Luxembourg to the south of France, and this hotel on the way back had looked nice in the pictures.
