The house and grounds were beautiful, just what you picture a French country house looking like, and the rooms and beds were clean, quiet and really comfortable. The town centre was only a few minutes away on foot, with some very nice dinner spots. The hosts were wonderful, and breakfast may have been the best meal I’ve ever had: local cheese, strawberries from their garden and eggs from their chickens. I wish I’d spent more time here and less in Paris. I hope to come back someday.

It’s an easy few minutes’ walk to the heart of Bayeux, and the D-Day sites are easy to reach from here. The owners made us feel like new friends. We stayed in a clean, comfortable, beautiful setting, and breakfast with local bread, cheese, eggs and more was wonderful. I’d definitely return if I came back to Normandy.

Our group loved this place. The hosts were wonderful, and the spacious house gave everyone room to spread out and feel comfortable. It’s just a few minutes’ stroll from Bayeux’s Main Street, restaurants, a bread shop and a mini supermarket. We bought local produce some nights and cooked for ourselves, and it was fantastic. For exploring the area, Omaha Beach is nearby, Point du Hoc and Sainte-Mère-Église are about a 40-minute drive, and Mont St Michel is an easy 1.5-hour drive away. A+.

Serge and Catherine were so hospitable that the place really felt like home. This was an amazing bed and breakfast, close to all the main sights and sounds of Bayeux.

Serge and Catherine made us feel so welcome, they’re the nicest people. Their home is beautiful, with a lovely garden and an adorable kitten named Merci. And the breakfast they make is amazing. Such a lovely stay.
