Rose Garden Bayeux

We had a lovely three-night stay, with Estelle making a real difference as a hostess. She helped us with laundry and even spoke to Hertz for us when our rental car wouldn’t start. The place is very accessible to the town center and Normandy sites.

Estelle was a friendly, helpful host, and breakfast served in our room was generous and delicious. It’s a pleasant 20-minute walk to the town centre, and our room was very clean. I’d have no hesitation staying here again on a future trip to Bayeaux. Five stars, highly recommended.

Estelle and John were great hosts, and we had a lovely week in the one-bedroom apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Bayeux is a short walk away, or an even shorter drive, and the accommodation is well placed for exploring the Normandy beaches, cemeteries, and memorials. Definitely worth booking for a visit to this impressive part of France.

John and Estelle were lovely hosts, and their communication was excellent. They told us we’d need to delay check-in until 1825hrs because they had to pick up other guests at the train station. We could park on site when we arrived earlier, though, and spent the afternoon visiting Bayeux and its famous tapestry. The two-bedroom lodging was modern, clean, and new, in a lovely, quiet part of Bayeux. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. There could be a little noise from guests in adjoining rooms. It’s an easy 20-25 minute walk to the town centre. They made us a tasty continental breakfast in the morning. A lovely place with friendly hosts, and I’d certainly stay again. Highly recommend.
