There was noise at all hours, and the building entrance was filthy. The room was dirty too, with grime tucked away where the light doesn't reach, and the toilet had no seat. They took three weeks to return the €200 deposit. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The beds were firm without being too hard, just how we like them, and the internet coverage was okay. The apartment was big and clean, though the building is very old and there was a bit of mold above the shower. For the price, it was very good, and the location in old Bayonne is great, just a few minutes' walk from the center.

The duplex had two single beds downstairs and another upstairs beside the kitchen. The toilet was spacious, the shower was very good, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The heating worked brilliantly, which was a relief after getting soaked in the cold weather. The hotel is right in the city center, which is fantastic. I had trouble calling the property from Spain to get the codes, even though the €200 charge before receiving them was stated. In the end, I asked a relative to call for me. At night there was party noise from the street, and street-cleaning machines passed in the morning. It wasn't too noisy, though the fridge also made some noise overnight.

I arrived at ten to nine after paying everything in advance with my Visa, but couldn't get in. They hadn't told me about the key boxes, which would've been easy to explain. Instead, I got four pages of disclaimers and other stuff. Some helpful guests tried to assist, and I called the number, but some of the numbers were out of service. Not happy.
