The dining room floor tiles are amazing, and the house has some lovely original features. We stayed for two nights while visiting Puys Du Fou, about 20 minutes away. The owners were friendly and helpful, the room was big, clean, and comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The continental breakfast was superb. Yes, I’d stay again.

The hosts were so friendly, warm, and attentive, and breakfast was generous with fresh homemade food. We especially loved the apricot-lavender jam. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and both the setting and building are magnificent. We only booked one night, which felt too short. There’s a beautiful, moving family story behind this peaceful haven. It’s ideally placed near Puy du Fou, and we highly recommend it. 🙏

Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was just as good, generous, and varied. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming in a beautiful setting. If we’re back at Puy du Fou or nearby, we’ll definitely stay at the Manoir aux Douves again. 5/5 without hesitation 👍👍👍. Clarisse, David, and their children Élise and Baptiste.

We had a peaceful stay in a spacious room with a very comfortable bed. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, with a warm, friendly feel. The meals were excellent and breakfast was very good. Highly recommend!

The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and breakfast was superb, especially the excellent jams. It’s easy to feel at home here. Our room fit two adults and two teenagers comfortably, with plenty of space, a large bathroom, and everything clean and comfortable. The hosts were warm and very helpful. A welcoming place to relax and explore the region, with Puy du Fou about 20 minutes away.
