Hôtel Le Beaulieu

We went for Sunday lunch at the restaurant, though Google only lets you review the hotel. We first asked to sit outside, but the umbrellas didn't give enough shade to the tables they offered us. Inside, we got a lovely table in a tastefully furnished room, and our waiter gave top class service. His English was almost without an accent. The menu was a letdown: there were two set menus, €39 and €49, and we chose the €39 one, with two choices each for the starter and main. Both starters were very good, but the main was rather ordinary in its vegetables and presentation. We've eaten at two nearby restaurants with €40 menus, and both did much better.

Our room was like something out of a fairytale, so beautiful! We stayed three days, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were always smiling and friendly. I'd recommend staying here, or at least coming for dinner.

A small hotel, but clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds, a very good breakfast, and friendly staff. Perfectly located and very good value for money.

The restaurant was a highlight for my partner's birthday, with exceptional food at a very reasonable price. The hotel itself has lovely rooms and incredibly friendly staff. It's right in the center of town, just a short walk from the river. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Beaulieu. 10/10.
