Le Carnot turned out to be a great choice after another restaurant was closed and a nearby one required a reservation. We’d originally hoped to eat elsewhere, but we weren’t disappointed at all. The staff greeted us with smiles when we arrived and were cheerful throughout, and service was very fast. The toilets were very clean and had hand soap and tissue paper. My wife and I ordered the set menu, with starters or salad, a main, and dessert, to try the Boeuf Bourguign and escargot. The tiramisu was good with my Americano, and my wife was very satisfied. Merci Beaucoup!

The portions are big enough that most dishes could be shared if you don’t eat a lot. We loved the food, especially the lasagne and beef dish, which were the best we had on our travels. Save room for the crepe and brownie dessert.

I had a salad and crème brûlée, and everything was delicious. There was some music and people chatting, but it was still easy to talk. It felt kid friendly, and the noise level was moderate, not too loud. The servers were really pleasant.

We came across Brasserie Le Carnot by chance and were glad we did. The prices seemed quite reasonable, lower than at other places nearby. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was excellent: the beef bourguignon was outstanding, with top-notch escargots and Caesar salad too. A great spot for French food without spending too much.

Good bistro food and enormous portions. The chicken was practically the size of a baby turkey.
