Pascal and Muriel gave us great advice on what to see nearby, and we ended up exploring much more of the Loire Valley than we expected. We also had dinner at the Château, which was incredible. It made for an amazing weekend. I’d definitely recommend Le Château de la Morinière for a holiday in the Loire Valley or elsewhere in France.

The dinner was a highlight. We sat with the hosts, and listening to Pascal talk us through the dishes and wine was just amazing. Definitely go for the three-course dinner with the wine pairing.

The guest house room was beautiful, and breakfast was good and plentiful. A nice place to stay when visiting Puy du Fou, or if you're traveling from the west toward Tours.

The Castle itself is nice, though the other buildings are quite old and don't seem very well maintained. If you don't speak French, don't expect much hospitality.
