chambre d'hôtes du Valvion

The owners were so welcoming and had fascinating things to share about the buildings' origins and design. The cottage sits on an experimental farm, which makes for a pretty unusual, original setting. It was spotless, and wonderfully peaceful.

We spent a week here in July 2023, three of us. The countryside was quiet, and the hosts were lovely and easy to approach. The breakfast was very generous, sometimes served on a sunny terrace. There was another terrace out front for relaxing in the sun or having an aperitif later in the day. The room was very comfortable and a good size, with excellent bedding and a kitchenette equipped with hotplates, a fridge, plates and more. It's well placed between the coast, with Le Touquet, Berck and St Valéry about an hour away, and cities like Amiens, Arras and Doullens. We highly recommend it. Don't let the dogs put you off, they really just wanted cuddles ;-)

The room was roomy, comfy and really quiet, and breakfast was very good. We got a warm welcome from the friendly hosts. They also gave us a little private tour and told us about the history of the place we were staying.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome. We found a clean, pleasant studio in a natural setting, with all the comfort and quiet we needed. It's a beautiful region to explore...
