There’s a small pool, and the apartment had a kitchenette with plenty of equipment. It’s pet-friendly, with a dog costing €6 per night. The hotel is well placed, about a ten-minute walk from the Monte Carlo Casino, with a nice bakery and a Carrefour grocery store right next door. For parking, use Parking Indigo Beausoleil Belle-Époque. The hotel gives a discount, so it’s €18 per 24 hours, with in-and-out access as needed. The AC seemed to be on, but didn’t actually cool the room.

The room stayed cool despite the brutal, sweltering heat outside, and it had a nice patio with a reasonably good sea view. The kitchen amenities were good too, including a decent sized mini fridge with freezer and a cooktop, though I didn’t need to use them. I was there for work in July 2025, and the location was ideal. I don’t think you can get much closer to Monaco without being in Monaco. There’s a Carrefour City around the corner with ice, spiced rum, coke, and other things, which covers the essentials. I tried the included breakfast one of my two mornings. As a Canadian, it wasn’t really for me, though I liked the eggs. I’d have preferred bacon or sausage and breakfast potatoes, but understand those may be hard to find here. I had a great stay and will choose this place again when I’m back in Monaco. It was much better than staying in Nice and taking the train in.

The staff are nice, but they claim they never get AC complaints, even though reviews are full of them. My room was at least 26-28 degrees, and it was cooler outside. You can open the windows, but it’s very loud outdoors. Fans are left in the closets, but they’re old and dirty, and haven’t been cleaned. The breakfast area has no AC or ventilation either. If proper air conditioning matters to you, this hotel isn’t for you. Poor management by Accor, definitely below their standards. I asked to speak with the manager three times, but they never came or called.

After eight hours of travel, we arrived around 4 pm, an hour after check-in was supposed to start, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. Reception said rooms are cleaned between 3 and 5:30 pm, so ours might not be available until 5:30. That’s unacceptable. Check-out is at 11, so what had been happening since the previous guests left? We could use the pool while we waited, but it wasn’t what we wanted after a day on the road. Getting to the pool is bizarre. You go through dingy corridors and stairs to the rooftop, where there’s a fairly grim changing area. To reach the pool you have to pass through a trough filled with water, like a sheep dip, so you can’t keep your shoes on. Breakfast was one of the worst I’ve had anywhere, and not worth paying for.
