Apartment Monte Cristo

The studio was well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. We parked in the car park next door for €24 overnight. Reception staff were friendly, efficient, and knew their stuff from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely come back when we visit Monaco.

For a family room with two adults and three children, it was OK for the price. There was no complimentary mineral water or coffee capsules, even though there was a Nespresso machine. The hotel gave all three kids free breakfast to make up for the parking being fully booked. Fine for one night.

Being close to central Monte Carlo is a plus, and perhaps the price is reasonable. But I wouldn’t stay here again. We’d told them we were arriving late, yet the night shift guy was visibly irritated and made no effort to be welcoming. The room looks spacious on paper, but the layout makes it feel cramped. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and in the summer heat the weak AC didn’t do much to cool the air. It wasn’t a comfortable stay.

I was there on a business trip and found the room outdated and in need of renovation. The location is convenient, but the high summer rate didn’t match the quality. Maybe prices are different in other seasons, but for summer it felt overpriced. The staff were also unhelpful and sometimes rude. When I asked for help, I was met with resistance, as if I were bothering them, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. The air conditioning made a loud, constant noise that made sleep nearly impossible. Other equipment in or around the room added to the disruption. If you need quiet, comfort, and respectful service while in Monaco, I’d look elsewhere until these problems are addressed.
