Gite du Domaine de La Motillais

Dinan, Dinard, Saint-Malo, and other pretty towns are close by, and we had a really pleasant stay. Our room was very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, and the breakfast was generous and good. The outdoor areas are pleasant too.

The cottage was lovely, the owner welcoming, and breakfast was genuinely excellent and enormous. The only things that kept it from feeling perfect were the shared living room, which stays at an unchangeable 17°C for breakfast and felt cold after a well-heated bedroom, and the owner coming into the room while we were eating, presumably to help. We were glad we weren't in our underwear or skimpy clothes, though really the cold was the main reason. It wouldn't take much to make the stay truly perfect.

We booked through Wonderbox expecting a room, but ended up with the whole cottage: bedroom, kitchen, shower room, toilet, living room, and garden. It was beautifully decorated and perfect. The welcome was warm, and breakfast was more than complete and delicious. It's in a quiet area near the coast at Dinard.

The setting is idyllic and rural, and the welcome was really friendly and pleasant. The decor is carefully done, and the rooms are very clean. Best of all, they're extremely comfortable, so we slept very well.
